You may have seen our post about Camp Connect’s recent whale-watching outing. Brothers & sisters reunited for a day cruise on the water, encountering sea life, dolphins, birds, and a beautiful sunny day. It was also filled with moments like these between Myles (10) and Sadie (6).

They entered care in 2022 due to severe abuse and neglect and have been living apart since, but were enrolled in Camp Connect so they could reunite at monthly events like this.

Myles loves teaching his sister new things and Sadie just loves attention from her big brother. When the Camp Connect Polaroid came out, he eagerly borrowed it and showed Sadie how to use it. While they waited for the next whale to appear, they had a ton of fun walking around the boat taking photos of different things like the wake of the boat, friends on the ship, volunteers, and photos of each other to exchange and take home.

Thanks to supporters like you, siblings like Myles and Sadie continue creating memories together, even when living apart.
