Meet Andy
Andy (3) entered care at 10 months old due to severe neglect. He arrived at the A.B. and Jessie Polinsky Center with a broken arm, and has received physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Since entering care Andy has lived in two different homes and is currently living with caregivers dedicated to supporting his needs, making sure he grows happy and healthy.
Like many 3-year-old boys, Andy loves playing with cars, however, because of his autism it is often difficult to find toys that interest him. When his caregiver noticed his fascination with cars, Promises2Kids funded Andy’s request for his very own toy car!
The car has been a great outlet for Andy. He loves to play in his car and enjoys simply sitting in it. It has also been a great way for him to improve his motor skills, and let his imagination run wild!
Your support makes it possible for foster children like Andy to have toys they can enjoy and create fond memories with.
