Andy (3) entered care at 10 months old due to severe neglect. Like many 3-year-old boys, Andy loves playing with cars, however, because of his autism it is often difficult to find toys that interest him. Bianca (7) was 5 years old when she entered care due to neglect, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, and witnessing domestic violence between her biological parents. Since arriving at the A.B and Jessie Polinsky Children’s Center, Bianca has lived in 4 different homes, each time attending a new school, in just the past two years.

Ethan (3) was only three months old when he was placed into foster care due to neglect and living in an unsafe environment. He has since been with a caregiver who is dedicated to providing him with the childhood he deserves. His caregiver reached out to get him his first bike.

Alan (8 months old) entered care the day he was born. He was removed from his biological mother due to prenatal drug exposure. His caregiver wanted to enroll him in baby sign language classes so he could be given the gift of language before he could speak.

Eight-year-old Jeremiah entered care at age 4. He was removed from his biological parents due to physical abuse and domestic violence and currently lives with a foster family.
