Men’s & Women’s Leadership Network “Dress for Success” at Nordstrom Fashion Valley

Dressing for success is crucial for Guardian Scholars taking the first steps along their career paths.

17 members of Men’s & Women’s Leadership Network attended our “Dress for Success” event at @Nordstrom FashionValley for a personal styling session to help prepare them for their transition to the workforce and adulthood.

The Leadership Network supports young scholars as they move into the next phase of their lives. Through workshops, group mentorship, and community collaboration, scholars are exposed to resources and offered the support of the community, so they may transition from being college students to productive and thriving members of the San Diego community.

Thank you to Nordstrom Fashion Valley. We appreciate your continued support!

Siblings Make Lasting Memories

Eddy(11) and his twin siblings Eve and Erik (15) entered foster care in 2015 due to severe neglect. They have been living apart since 2017, so seeing each other monthly through Camp Connect has been their saving grace. Each opportunity gives them time to catch up, spend quality time together, and create new and lasting memories.

Read the story of their day out at a baseball game in the latest issue of @GivingBackMagazine.
