Meet Trent

Meet Mindy

Mindy was 3 years old when she arrived at the A.B. and Jessie Polinsky Children’s Center (PCC) after being removed from her biological parents due to neglect and domestic violence she witnessed between her parents. She was born prematurely and had unaddressed medical, developmental, and behavioral health challenges.

Meet Sophia

Sophia (5) was born with significant medical needs. She was removed from her parents in 2020 due to severe general and medical neglect. As a result of Sophia’s behavioral, medical, and mental health challenges, she had 4 placement changes, 3 social workers, and has been in 3 different school districts.

Meet Lilly

Lilly was born in her family vehicle and was unhoused with her biological parents for most of her life. She entered care at age 4 due to severe neglect. When she arrived at the A.B. and Jessie Polinsky Children’s Center (PCC), she was considered as a candidate for KidSTART services due to her behavioral and developmental needs.

Meet Aurora

Aurora arrived at The A. B. and Jessie Polinsky Children’s Center (PCC) at age 5. Due to neglect and her mother not being able to care for her, Aurora’s development suffered. At PCC she was screened for KidSTART services which could provide the specialized care she needed.

Meet Alicia

Alicia was removed from her parents at 3 years old as a result of domestic violence, substance abuse, and neglect. When she arrived at The A. B. and Jessie Polinsky Children’s Center, she was evaluated by KidSTART services for concerns about her behaviors and social skills.
