Thank you to all the attendees, chairs and sponsors for another extraordinary evening under the stars celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the Dream On Concert Gala.
This extraordinary event was held once again under the stars at the beautiful La Jolla estate home of Joan Waitt and featured a Sunset Cocktail Reception, Silent Auction, Live Auction, and elegantly prepared dinner prepared by Executive Chef Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille. The evening was headlined by an intimate live performance by ROB THOMAS, Grammy award-winning recording artist and lead singer of Matchbox Twenty.
Each year is a sell out, and because of you, raises critical funds benefiting the 3,000 San Diego County foster youth of all ages.

“…the consummate pop-rock craftsman who has been making it all sound so smooth for years.”
3 Time Grammy winner Rob Thomas, one of modern music’s most compelling and commercially successful artists. For 20 years, he has been the front man and primary composer for Matchbox Twenty, leading the band to multi-platinum success over the course of five albums and a string of No. 1 hits that include “Push,” “3AM,” “Bent,” “If You’re Gone,” “Unwell,” and “How Far We’ve Come.” Thomas’ three solo albums, 2005’s platinum-certified No. 1 album …Something To Be, 2009’s Cradlesong and 2015’s The Great Unknown generated the hit singles “Lonely No More,” “This is How A Heart Breaks,” “Her Diamonds”, “Someday” and “Pieces”. Thomas made history with “…Something to Be” as having the first album by a male artist from a rock or pop group to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Thomas also wrote and performed Billboards #2 song of all time, “Smooth” with Carlos Santana.
