Camp Connect

For children who have been traumatized by child abuse, abandonment and neglect, a relationship with a brother or sister often is their only source of emotional and psychological support. Sadly, many of these children will have to be removed from their home and placed in foster care and, more often than not, they will be separated from their siblings.  

Through Camp Connect San Diego, brothers and sisters separated in foster care have opportunities throughout the year to reconnect, strengthen family ties and create lasting childhood memories.

Camp Connect San Diego is a partnership between Promises2Kids and the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency.
 

Activities in 2012 Included:

  • Pro Kids Golf Day
  • Surf Day with Del Mar Powerhouse Paddle Group
  • 4-day Camp at Camp Whispering Winds
  • Charger's Training Camp
  • Mission Bay Yacht Club
  • Sea World Holiday Event

 

The Camp Connect Program is funded through individual contributions and grants. Please donate to help bring brothers and sisters back together again.
